Full moon that ocurs closest to the autumal equinox
allso known as Harvest Moon
... felt like drawing a lunar eclipse, a tree and a dog.
this is one of that kind of drawing you have no explanation for
something tells you to do it, be it random inspiration or the cosmos or whatever, they appear out of nowhere and just create themselves and they grow into you, allmost like a new pet.
The dog's name is Sebastian (named him after the first male name I heared just after finishing this) like I said, he grew into me like a new pet so you'll see more of him.
He is a solid black Borzoi with a white Y-shaped marking on his chest, nobody knows how old he is, he can be seen wandering around on crossroads, forests, small towns, etc. he sometimes stalks people, he just follows them around, watching them closely, he won't stop following them even if they throw stones at him, whoever has been followed can swear they hear him laugh faintly sometimes.
he can talk at every full moon (Wolf Moon, Storm Moon, Growing Moon, Hare Moon, etc.) but only a few have heared him.
Sebastian used to be human, an ocult entusiast intrested in the spirits that live inside the hollow hills, you know... the seelie and unseelie courts, the fairy realm... that kind of spirits. Well he learned things that he should never have learned... as punishment, he was turned into a dog and was forced to work for the faeric folk for all the eternity.
He thinks, acts and feels just like a regular dog (he can' feel complex emotions, can't hate, can't bear grudges, can't regret... just like a dog) but he remembers being human and he remembers how regretting, hating and feeling complex emotions is.
It migth sound terrible, being turned into a dog and working for the faeric courts for eternity... but after a few years he began to enjoy it, he is not a slave anymore, he is a part of the realm he had been studying for so long, he follows humans who have anything to do with his new "family" and laughs at how little they know about them.
Oh! and being a part of the fairy courts he is immortal, he can understand and speak the faeric language, but he is only allowed to speak the human language only once a month.

Luna llena mas proxima al equinoxio de otoño.
conocida como Luna de la Cocecha, Luna del Vino o Luna Cantarina.
... me dieron ganas de dibujar un perro, un arbol y un eclipse lunar.
este es del tipo de dibujo que no tiene explicacion algo te impulsa a hacerlo, inspiracion al azar o el cosmos o lo que sea, aparecen de la nada, se crean solos y te encariñas con ellos, como una mascota nueva.
El perro se llama Sebastian (le puse el primer nombre masculino que escuche despues de terminar el dibujo) como dije, me encariñe con el como con una mascota nueva asi que lo van a volver a ver.
es un Borzoi negro, con una Y blanca en el pecho, nadie sabe que edad tiene, lo pueden encontrar deambulando por encrucijadas, bosques, pueblos pequeños, etc. a veces asecha a las personas, las sigue sin importar lo que pase, no las deja de seguir incluso si le tiran piedras, a las personas que sigue.
Puede hablar cada luna llena (Luna vieja, Luna de lobo, Luna de Lenten,Luna de huevo , etc.) pero muy pocos lo han oido.
Sebastian era humano, un ocultista que se interesaba en los seres que viven en las colinas huecas, ya saben, la genre pequeña, la corte de las hadas.. ese tipo de espiritus feericos. Bueno, aprendio cosas que nunca deberia haber aprendido... como castigo, los seres lo convirtieron en un perro y esta condenado a trabajar para ellos por le resto de la eternidad.
Piensa, actua y siente como cualquier perro (no puede sentir emociones complejas, no puede odiar, ni sentir arrepentimiento... como un perro) pero se acuerda de cuando fue humano y sabe como se siente el odio, el arrepentimiento y las emociones complejas.
Puede que se escuche feo, ser convertido en perro y tener que trabajar para las cortes feericas para siempre... pero despues de varios años comenzo a disfrutarlo, ya no es un esclavo, sino parte del reino que estuvo estudiando toda su vida, sigue a los humanos que tienen algo que ver con su nueva "familia" y se rie de lo poco que conocen de ellos..
Ah! y por ser parte del reino feerico es inmortal, puede entender y hablar el lenguaje feerico, pero nadamas se le permite hablar el idioma humano una vez al mes.

the colors in this are gorgeous! I love their vibrancy in comparison to the mute, earth tones prevalent in the rest of the piece... love the folklore as well; beautiful!
