a late birthday gift for
 FengLong means PhoenixDragon, not sure if that's how they really look like but that's how my subconcious interpretes them on dreams O__o yes I've been dreaming with bird-like creatures for quiet a while now but it's been increasing recently. It is based on Cloudie's little Dragon form and a few birds. I didn't knew if I should base this one on an Owl, a Swan or on Fowl... it ended up being up having a bit of the 3  feathery owl-like talons, baby chicken-like head feathers and swan-like beak-thingy O___o the wings are white on top and black, blue and purple on the bottom. Like her young dragon form, this one has no sex (androgynous) I added some baloons to make it more birthday-ish, hope you like it   --------------------------------------------------------------------------- un regalo de cumpleaños atrasado para FengLong significa Dragon-Fenix, no se si asi se vean en realidad pero asi los interpreta mi subconciente en sueños O__o si he estado soñando con seres pajaro por mucho tiempo pero mas ahora. Esta basado en la forma de Dragon Joven de Cloudie y en algunos pajaros. No savia si basarme en un Buho, en un Cisne o en un Pollito... termino pareciendose a los 3 patas emplumadas de buho, cresta de pollito and y esa cosa en el pico que tienen los cisnes O___olas alas son blancas por arriba y negras, azul y moradas en el fondo. como la forma de dragon joven, esta creatura no tiene genero (es androgino) agregue unos globos para que se vea mas festivo, ojala y te guste Cygnus form and character (c) =sephys-little-cloud art (c) me  don't steal! |

Life is hard but if you smile upon difficulties those hard moments life can be bearable and even fun.
Would you consider this creature a sort of Gryphon? I've been thinking of making a traditional lion/dragon-lugia hybrid, but I really like the way this looks instead!
It was very clever what you did with the inner wings. I see a bit of the Kid in there with those colors.
I love all of it: The swan beak, the golden feathers, the reddish eyes, the "Widget" balloon. =3

How did you get the colors so smooth on the computer? Is is colored pencil or marker?
Btw, have you ever considered drawing a hippogriff (those part-eagle, part-horse creatures from Harry Potter)?
